The Public Transportation Advisory Committee (PTAC) is seeking a new members to provide leadership on public transportation in Oregon by giving input and feedback on transit issues and funding to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Oregon Transportation Commission (OTC). PTAC serves as a forum for a diverse range of transit providers and other key stakeholders from across the state to come together and create a vision for equitable public transportation in Oregon.

PTAC is looking for members to provide expertise and perspective regarding the following areas:

  • Western & Eastern Rural Transit Provider (2 positions total)
  • Older Adults and People with Disabilities – Constituency Rep
  • Non-Emergent Medical Transport
  • Transportation Options advocate for creating increased awareness of transportation option needs throughout Oregon
  • Passenger Rail/Intercity advocate for intercity transportation providers and/or the interests of promoting intercity public transportation in Oregon
  • Private Transportation advocate for non-public funded transportation
  • Equity/Civil Right advocate for Civil Rights and equity for historically marginalized communities
  • Low Income advocating for the public transportation needs of low income Oregonians
  • Non-English advocate for transportation equity to non-English speaking historically marginalized populations
  • Multimodal/Bike Share/Micromobility advocate for coordination to increase access to transit through 1st /last mile, including micromobility providers
